ExpoSolar Colombia is more than just a trade fair—it has become a key institution driving the renewable energy value chain, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, LED lighting, and green hydrogen sectors. Through the ongoing development of promotional and networking strategies, we aim to foster a dynamic environment that strengthens each link in the production chain.
To achieve this, we promote research, continuous training, and professional knowledge updates within the sector, product development, solar system implementation, and synergy-building among companies in the field. We also share the latest progress in solar energy project installations in Colombia, relevant public policy, and legislation. Above all, we seek to inspire the industrial and commercial sectors to recognize the importance and economic viability of self-generating solar energy, with a view toward sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
At the heart of our efforts is a nationally and internationally recognized trade fair where thermal and photovoltaic solar energy products and innovations, sustainable mobility solutions, and LED lighting technologies are showcased, promoted, and marketed. The event includes both commercial and academic spaces featuring scientific and technological solutions that support the growth of renewable energy in Colombia and Latin America, positioning the sector as a key driver of a sustainable economy.
ExpoSolar Colombia was created by Centro de Ciencia y Sensibilización Ambiental (Center for Environmental Science and Awareness), an educational organization, to serve as a dynamic, unifying event that helps integrate solar energy into the country’s development process.
General Objective
The main goal of ExpoSolar Colombia is to strengthen its international scope—both in-person and online—becoming the hub for solar energy business in Latin America and the Caribbean. This is made possible thanks to Colombia’s geostrategic location as the most accessible corner of the Americas for South and Central America, as well as the expanded reach offered by the digital world.
